KENEDY LEOPARDS VOLLEYBALL TEAM WINS BI-DISTRICT CHAMPS

Kenedy, Pettus, and Refugio ended the district volleyball season in a 3 way tie for third place.

In order to break the tie the three teams flipped a coin to see who would play on Friday and who would get the BYE. Pettus won the flip which scheduled a match between Kenedy and Refugio on Friday October 28. The match took place in Woodsboro at 5.

STUDENT PARKING PERMIT

All Kenedy High School students who will be driving on campus during the 2016-2017 are required to obtain a parking permit. All legal driving KHS students need to bring their driver’s license, copy of insurance with the student’s name listed as an insured driver and $5.00 to obtain a parking permit.

THE PARENT PORTAL MOBILE SITE IS AVAILABLE!

The Parent Portal is a confidential and secure website that allows parents/guardians the ability to view their child’s progress and school information. This tool will help create a better partnership and dialogue between KISD parents and teachers. Parents can use the portal to check grades on assignments, tests and quizzes, and view attendance records.

Absences Add Up

One of the best things you can do for your child is to make sure they attend school every day. After all, we want our kids to have the best possible chance of doing well in school and achieving their dreams. But getting a child to school isn’t always easy. While some absences are understandable, it’s important to understand the impact of each absence.
